Festival of Balloons, Tigard, OR
The festival starts before dawn as the balloons arrive, set up, and start to fill and take brave folks on an adventure at sunrise. The balloons certainly take center stage in the morning but the afternoon and evening shift into carnival style fair, evening balloon lights, and music performances. Your ticket and wristband can be used in the morning and would give re-entry for the evening shows if you decided to leave and come back.
Wooden Shoe Farm Tulip Festival, Woodburn, OR
An annual festival of tulips with carnival fare, wood carving lessons, games, and rides for children. Festival goers are able to walk the grounds and explore the farm and view the colorful display of tulips. There's also a garden center area to purchase fresh cut tulips and buy bulbs for your own garden.
